Reasons your application may be closed
Your housing application will be closed for the following reasons:
- you do not give us the information we ask for in time
- you move to a new address
- you do not give us information we need to assess your application
- you give false or incomplete information
- you ask us to remove your application from the waiting list
- you are no longer eligible under immigration rules
- you are found guilty of unacceptable behaviour
How to close your application
If you no longer want to be re-housed through Newcastle Homes, you can close your application by following these steps:
Step 1
Log in to your account. The link will open in a new page.
Step 2
Click on ‘My Account’.
Step 3
In the Social Housing section, click on ‘Request closure’.
Step 4
Choose ‘Confirm Closure’ to close your application, or ‘Cancel’ to keep it open.
